Wake County is an expanding regional economic hub, and we need modern, efficient transportation options to match our continuing growth. One of the best ways to strengthen our economy, increase opportunity, and create jobs is to invest in infrastructure.

As an attorney, I assisted our regional transit agency and practiced municipal bond law to help local governments fund critical infrastructure and public work programs.

In Congress, I continue to champion North Carolina’s infrastructure needs. I fought to pass the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which has already delivered billions in federal resources to our state to repair crumbling roads and bridges, expand internet access from the mountains to the coast, create good-paying clean energy jobs, and so much more.

I continue to work with my North Carolina colleagues on both sides of the aisle to deliver federal support for critical transportation projects, including the Raleigh-to-Richmond Rail Line and Wake County Bus Rapid Transit.
