A message from Congresswoman Ross:
I have heard from thousands of constituents about how President Trump’s reckless actions have impacted your lives and livelihoods. Federal employees, mothers and families, seniors, immigrants, domestic violence shelters, disaster relief organizations, and concerned citizens have all reached out to my office to tell me their stories. I remain committed to pushing back against the President’s ongoing attempts to slash the resources and services that North Carolinians depend on.
I am especially concerned about the new Administration’s planned purge of the federal workforce. Over 42,000 federal employees in our state provide a range of essential services. If enacted, Trump’s plan will cripple government operations, hurt vulnerable North Carolina seniors and children, and undermine key industries in our state. When times are tough — including after Hurricane Helene — federal workers have always had our backs. Now we need to have theirs. I am committed to fighting these unconstitutional policies and protecting our federal workers.
Please know that my team and I are in constant communication with state and local officials, federal partners, community organizations, and Wake County residents to share as much information as we can with you and your family. We will continue to keep this guide updated with the most recent resources and information to be as helpful as possible.
Please note: Under House Ethics guidelines, we are only permitted to share information from government sources—not private sector or nonprofit resources, though useful information is available through these entities as well.
If you have questions or need help with a federal agency, please don't hesitate to reach out to my office. My team is here to assist. You can send me an email through my website or call my Raleigh office at (919) 334-0840.
