Today, Congresswoman Deborah Ross (NC-02) released her 2025 ‘Year in Review’, a comprehensive report and video detailing her work in Congress to deliver for Wake County and hold the Trump administration accountable. Click here to read the report and here to watch the video.
“I was honored to serve Wake County for another year in Congress,” said Congresswoman Ross. “2025 was marked by chaos and pain caused by Donald Trump and his Republican enablers in Congress. Yet despite the unique challenges of the past year, I worked hard to deliver real results for North Carolina – from returning millions in federal benefits to our community to passing bipartisan legislation to reversing Trump administration policies that hurt the people of our state. As we look forward to the year ahead, I will remain laser-focused on delivering for North Carolina in 2026.”
The report and video include the following highlights:
- More than $34 million in federal resources and benefits returned back to Wake Country residents and small businesses since taking office;
- 3 bills signed into law this year and 15 bills since taking office;
- 6 town halls hosted by Congresswoman Ross’ office – more than any other member of the North Carolina congressional delegation;
- More than 260 meetings with constituents and 175 events attended or hosted in the district;
- Reversing harmful Trump administration policies that hurt North Carolina, including reversals to:
- Millions in federal funding cuts to Wake County Public Schools
- Funding cuts that resulted in the termination of the investigation into toxic chemicals at NC State’s Poe Hall
- Funding cuts to women’s health research
