Washington, D.C. — The U.S. House of Representatives passed a partial appropriations package for Fiscal Year 2026, including $6.75 million in federal funding for Wake County transportation and housing community projects secured by Congresswoman Deborah Ross (NC-02). If approved by the Senate and signed into law by the President, these projects will invest in key transportation and infrastructure improvements across Wake County.

“Wake County is a booming hub that attracts new residents and businesses every single day,” said Congresswoman Ross. “Now more than ever, we must invest in 21st century infrastructure to keep pace with this unprecedented growth. From affordable housing to airport and public safety improvements, these projects will make a real difference in the lives of Wake County residents. I will continue working hard to get these projects across the finish line.”

Last year, Congresswoman Ross submitted these seven funding requests. Below is the list of projects included in this partial appropriations package. Find information about current and previous Community Project Funding requests here.
