“I’m proud and honored to have served the people of Wake County for another year in Congress,” said Congresswoman Ross. “From returning millions in federal benefits back to our community to leading critical legislation to address sexual abuse, I’ve spent this year fighting hard for the people who call Wake County home. This year will present new challenges and opportunities for progress, and I am ready to get back to work for North Carolina’s Second District in my third term.”
The report and video include the following highlights:
- More than $22 million in federal resources and benefits returned back to Wake Country residents and small businesses since taking office;
- Events highlighting more than $12 million in direct federal funding for community projects across Wake County;
- More than 200 meetings with constituents and 180 events attended or hosted in the district;
- Secured mail delivery for Research Triangle Park, an area home to hundreds of companies and thousands of employees who were previously forced to use one USPS facility;
- Leading on critical legislation to:
- Address sexual abuse and harassment and ensure abusers are held accountable;
- Deliver urgently needed aid to Western North Carolina; and
- Advance the responsible development of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
