Community Project Funding Secured by Congresswoman Ross

Since coming to Congress, Congresswoman Ross has fought to bring federal dollars back to the Wake County community through the government funding process. From Raleigh to Wendell to Knightdale, these community-driven investments reach people and places across Wake County and address some of the critical needs of our communities. Congresswoman Ross had the honor of visiting these projects and seeing firsthand the positive difference they are making in residents of Wake County from all walks of life.

WakeMed Behavioral Health Hospital

To confront the growing mental health crisis, Congresswoman Ross secured $6 million in funding alongside former Congressman David Price for WakeMed's new behavioral health hospital in Garner.

Wake County Public Health Center

Congresswoman Ross secured $2 million in federal funding for Wake County to construct a new public health center. As the Triangle consistently ranks as one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation, it's crucial that our community has the resources needed to keep our people healthy and safe.

Garner Senior Center

Before the end of 2022, Congresswoman Ross secured $6 million in federal funding to make critical improvements to the senior center in Garner. This funding will help ensure the Garner Senior Center is open and accessible to all.
