Congresswoman Deborah Ross (NC-02) was selected by her colleagues to serve as the Vice Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee. She also will serve on the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement as well as on the Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet.

This will be Congresswoman Ross’ second term on the House Judiciary Committee. In her first term, she led efforts to enhance judicial ethics and transparency, protect voting rights, reform our immigration system, and more.

“Over the next two years, the House Judiciary Committee will debate many of the most pressing issues facing our nation, and I’m honored to take on the position of Vice Ranking Member,” said Congresswoman Ross. “Under Ranking Member Nadler’s leadership, we will continue fighting for justice, equality, and the rights of all Americans. We also will work on pressing immigration issues. Judiciary Committee Democrats are ready to work across the aisle with our Republican colleagues where possible and fight against extremist legislation when necessary.”
